July sessions are now available for the free, nationally accredited Equip-Safe Orange Card Combo training for members' apprentices.

The Construction Training Fund (CTF) contributes 70% of the funding and we contribute the remaining 30% for eligible members.*

Based on the very strong response to the announcement in this news item and an email to members on Monday 11 May, we expect these new places will fill up quickly.

Each session is two days:

• 1–2 July (Wednesday & Thursday)
• 9–10 July (Thursday & Friday)
• 13–14 July (Monday & Tuesday)
• 15–16 July (Wednesday & Thursday)
• 21–22 July (Tuesday & Wednesday)

What's included?

This training consists of the following units of competency, which must all be completed over two days to be eligible for the funding:

• RIIHAN301E Operate Elevating Work Platforms (scissor-lift): Gain essential skills to use elevating work platforms in compliance with national safety standards.
• CPCCCM3001 Operate Elevated Work Platforms up to 11 metres: Learn how to operate scissor lifts and self-propelled boom lifts (up to 11m) safely and effectively.
• RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights: Learn how to assess risks, use fall protection systems, and work safely at heights. This course will give your apprentice the certifications and skills needed to perform safely and confidently on site.
