Members of The Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of WA can now access free Orange Card Combo training for their apprentices.

This unique opportunity to support the development of your apprentices and your business's safety standards is the result of close collaboration with the Construction Training Fund (CTF) and Equip-Safe (RTO 2394).

Our strong partnership with the CTF and Equip-Safe has enabled us to secure 70% funding for the Orange Card Combo Training at Equip-Safe. We will contribute the remaining 30% - making this training free!*

The Equip-Safe Orange Card Combo provides nationally accredited training to operate scissor lifts, boom lifts (up to 11 metres) and working safely at heights. While this free training offer is for apprentices only, remember that Equip-Safe gives members a 5% discount on other training courses.

What's included?

This training consists of the following units of competency, which must all be completed over 2 days to be eligible for the funding:

• RIIHAN301E Operate Elevating Work Platforms (scissor-lift): Gain essential skills to use elevating work platforms in compliance with national safety standards.
• CPCCCM3001 Operate Elevated Work Platforms up to 11 metres: Learn how to operate scissor lifts and self-propelled boom lifts (up to 11m) safely and effectively.
• RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights: Learn how to assess risks, use fall protection systems, and work safely at heights. This course will give your apprentice the certifications and skills needed to perform safely and confidently on site.
