Our Associate Member and industry-led Group Training Organisation, GetCareers, gives our plumbing members preferred rates for apprentice employment.

Their service takes care of all the administration workload associated with recruitment, payroll administration, superannuation, taxation and workers’ compensation claims.

GetCareers sends a weekly invoice that covers everything - and they don't charge for unproductive time such as sick leave, public holidays or annual leave.

Improved Apprentice Training Outcomes

GetCareers mentors apprentices to help them navigate the complex transition from school to paid employment.

They also ensure apprentices receive a complete range of practical work experience so they can become genuinely competent tradespeople.

GetCareers has regular meetings with the Association to review training requirements and hear feedback from members.
