COVID-19

In good news for building and construction, the WA Government is relaxing the vaccination rules.

As announced by Premier Mark McGowan on Wednesday June 1, mandatory vaccination will cease on Friday June 10 for most workers.

The Government requirement for triple dose vaccination will continue for staff in hospitals, health care, residential aged care and residential disability care.

Some public sector employers may choose to introduce their own vaccination requirements.

The Premier also announced relaxed quarantine rules for unvaccinated Australians and permanent residents returning to WA and removal of entry restrictions for remote Aboriginal communities.
