This year, our annual Awards for Excellence have special significance because we are celebrating our 125th Anniversary. For the 11 business categories there is a simplified entry process and a new approach to deciding the winners.
The 11 business categories are for Association members only, while the Geoffrey Arthur Smith - Apprentice of the Year Award is open to fourth-year apprentices employed by any licensed plumbing contractor in Western Australia.
Simplified entry process for business categories
We've done away with detailed written submissions. All you need do is nominate a maximum of two categories that best represent your strengths. The Geoffrey Arthur Smith - Apprentice of the Year Award still requires a written submission.
New judging process for business categories
The focus is on publicly available evidence your business deserves an Award. This means the judges will look closely at your online presence, especially your Find a Master Plumber listing.
Where to find full details and the entry form
On or after Thursday 1 October: Members who wish to enter should log into the members area of our website and go to the 2026 Awards for Excellence page, under 'Events' in the top navigation menu. This will give you everything you need to know including a link to download the entry form.
Closing date
Entries for all Awards close Thursday 31 December 2026.
