Members and their staff mingled with industry partners at our Plumbing Industry Trade Day on Wednesday 18 June.

Held at South Metropolitan TAFE in Rockingham, the event was the second in this year's trade day series.

A Q&A panel and mini trade show gave plumbers the opportunity to keep abreast of key industry issues and talk to a range of merchants and manufacturers.

The panel guests were senior staff from South Metropolitan TAFE, Building & Energy, BuildSkills Australia, ATCO Gas and Water Corporation.

With our CEO Murray Thomas chairing the discussion, they answered questions about topics related to apprentice training, plumbing regulations, workforce and migration issues, climate changes and Waterwise plumbing.

The next one will be at North Metropolitan TAFE in Balga on Wednesday 20 August, followed by South Regional TAFE Albany campus on Wednesday 15 October and Bunbury campus on Wednesday 5 November.
