Heavy rain and cold wintery weather couldn't keep people away from our Plumbing Industry Trade Day at North Metropolitan TAFE.

There was much to see and learn, with several Associate Members in attendance to show off their products and services, and an informative Q&A panel session with speakers from Building and Energy, ATCO Gas, Consumer Protection, Water Corporation and North Metropolitan TAFE.

Also present were Jody Williams and Kaelynn Dunn from the new MPA Insurance team. Jody gave a brief talk to introduce herself and talk about insurance, then later drew the winning ticket for the $500 draw prize. Jody and her colleagues are looking forward to assisting members and we no longer have any affiliation with the brokers who previously managed the MPA Insurance service.

Once again, we thank the industry partners whose sponsorship makes our Plumbing Industry Trade Days possible and the TAFE Colleges for making their facilities available.

The two remaining Plumbing Industry Trade Days for this year will be at South Regional TAFE's Albany campus on Wednesday 15 October, and the Bunbury campus on Wednesday 5 November.
