Our newest Associate Member, Apprenticeship Support Australia WA (ASA WA) provides free services that remove the administration workload involved in directly employing apprentices.

Operated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia, ASA WA is the only government-contracted provider of both generalist and specialist apprenticeship support services across WA. They have more than 26 years of experience and have supported over 270,000 apprentices and trainees.

Their free, end-to-end support covers training contract registration, compliance management, access to government incentives, and ongoing mentoring to improve retention and completion.

They also run specialist services directly relevant to our industry, including support for Women in Trades, First Nations and Clean Energy occupations.

With consultants and mentors based in 15 WA locations including Karratha, Kalgoorlie and Bunbury, ASA WA can assist plumbing and gasfitting businesses doing everything from residential jobs in the suburbs to commercial and resources projects across regional WA.

For members of The Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of WA, they are a practical, no-cost resource to help recruit, train and retain the next generation of licensed plumbers and gasfitters.
