We encourage all our members with customers whose homes have Pro-fit Typlex 1050 pipes installed between 2017 and 2022 to make them aware they can register for a free leak detector unit.

If a leak is suspected, the unit can minimise damage by automatically shutting off the water flow into the home.

Leak detectors are being fitted free of charge in all eligible homes, regardless of whether the builder of the home is participating in the Industry Response.
