Building and Energy will hold five free information sessions in the Perth CBD about the first stage of new laws aimed at ensuring subcontractors and suppliers receive timely payments.
The Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payment) Act 2021 introduced better payment protections and applies to construction contracts entered into on or after 1 August 2022.
Each session will provide an overview of the new laws and how to find your way through the details.
Who should attend?
Anyone who works in building and construction or enters into contracts with building and construction companies.
