Our CEO Murray Thomas is a member of the Western Australian Building and Construction Consultative Committee (BCC Committee), a forum for major industry stakeholders to discuss and provide advice to the State Government on issues in WA's commercial construction sector.
The WA Government established the BCC Committee in June 2022 because it recognised the need for a high-level communications channel with employers, representative associations and unions in the commercial construction sector.
The BCC Committee meets quarterly and has a focus on economic, industrial relations, safety, diversity and workforce management matters. It also has a key role in stimulating building activity, skills development and jobs growth.
