We have published some additional information for members about the impressive value the MPA Work Health Safety Management System offers them.
A previous news item on Wednesday 9 February announced the launch of the system, which has been designed by plumbers and is fully compliant with WA's new workplace safety laws. Its purpose is to give members of The Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of WA a cost-effective solution that is easy to implement and helps them meet their responsibilities to provide safe workplaces.

The system includes a comprehensive policy manual. The new information we've just added to our members-only resources is a sample table of contents that shows the scope of what's possible with the manual. Remember, the manual is customisable to suit any plumbing business.
To get the sample table of contents, members should log into the members-only area and select 'MPA WHS Management System' under Members' Resources (on the left-hand side of the page), then look for the heading 'See a preview of the policy manual'.
This is also a good time to mention that the system includes a choice of 14 safe work method statements (SWMS). If extra SWMS are needed, they are available at an additional cost.
