$500 off tools and safety equipment for apprentices and trainees

The Construction Training Fund (CTF) is offering direct financial support to apprentices and trainees through the Apprentice Tool Allowance.

This program, which launched on 1 July 2022 for one year, gives eligible apprentices and trainees a $500 rebate for the purchase of relevant tools and safety equipment.

As well as promoting safety and helping apprentices and trainees cover the cost of items they need, the Allowance aims to help them stay in their employment. This means it's good news for employers too.
