Plumbers help raise awareness for asbestos diseases

Hot Topics

In the past 40 years more than 10,000 people in Australia have died from mesothelioma and that number is expected to double in the next 40 years.

Asbestos exposure presents a significant risk to home renovators, builders and tradies - and there is no cure for mesothelioma and some of the other nasties. We have decided to do something about it by supporting the Asbestos Diseases Society of Australia in raising funds for research. AFL champion Brett Peake and singing/songwriting plumber Dean Harnett are throwing their weight behind the campaign and we'd love your help! Please support us by donating whatever you can and/or by sharing this post with your networks. And check out the link on the donation page to the story that ran in The West Online!

Please see below the link to Mesothelioma Attorneys – Worthington & Caron’s website (based in California) who have posted an article on Master Plumbers & Gasfitters Association of WA’s member (and plumber), Dean Harnett, who penned the lyrics to “Mystery Blue,” a song about the dangers of asbestos.
