We have published a media release to promote the WaterMark public awareness campaign.
The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) is running the campaign because consumers know very little about the WaterMark Certification Scheme or why it matters.
In addition to saying that we are giving the campaign our full support, the media release has a brief explanation of Watermark and outlines what consumers risk when they use non-certified products.
It also quotes our CEO Murray Thomas as saying, "Licensed plumbing contractors and their staff should take every opportunity to educate customers about why WaterMark matters. The ‘LOOK for the WaterMark’ campaign has a wide range of resources to help them including content for social media feeds and websites, videos, posters and answers to frequently asked questions."
