Who can become a member?
Membership categories
To be eligible to join as a full member, you must be a licensed plumbing and gasfitting contractor in Western Australia. There are other membership categories for people who are associated with the industry or who are retired.

Standard / Metro Members

You are eligible for ordinary/metro membership if you are a business owner and a licensed:

and carry out work in one or more of the following:
- plumbing
- roofing
- gas
- installation
- plumbing consulting
- drainage
- mechanical contracting

Regional Members
|
You are eligible for country membership if you meet the selection criteria for ordinary/metro membership but operate your business outside a 100 km radius of the registered office of the MPGA in Maylands. You must be a business owner and a licensed:

- plumbing
- roofing
- gas
- installation
- plumbing consulting
- drainage
- mechanical contracting

Associate Members
|
You are eligible for associate membership if you operate a business actively engaged in the manufacture, distribution and/or servicing of the plumbing industry.

Teaching Members
|
You are eligible for teaching membership if you are an instructor, teacher or lecturer in the plumbing trade at any secondary or tertiary training organisations. |
|
Retired Members
|
You are eligible for retired membership if you have recently retired from the plumbing industry and have been an ordinary or country member of the MPGA. Retired members pay a reduced fee. |
