Pre-Apprenticeships

If you would like to get into the plumbing industry but are not employed as an apprentice plumber, Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeships provide a way for you to achieve your goal.

A Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship is a course offered as "off the job" training. You will do the majority of your study at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship also involves work experience in a plumbing environment.

Once the course is completed, you must find employment as an apprentice with a licensed plumber. Your studies will continue with your chosen training provider until the apprenticeship is complete.

MPA Skills offers Pre-Apprenticeships for plumbing.
The Pre-Apprenticeship program is a 15 week full time course. There are 3 courses per year. As part of the pre-apprentice program students are required to complete 4-5 weeks work experience.
