PLB (Plumbers Licensing Board)
The Plumbers Licensing Board regulates the State’s plumbing industry by issuing licenses to suitably qualified and experienced plumbing contractors and their tradespersons and maintains compliance and workmanship standards for the protection of public health and safety and the environment.

Their website provides valuable information to trade participants and consumers about the plumbing industry serving the Western Australian community.

PLB NEWS:
 

From 1 July 2010, changes to the fees and charges will apply under the Water Services Licensing (Plumbers Licensing and Plumbing Standards) Regulations 2000 (the Regulations). The fees follow a Government policy to adjust the fees consistent with CPI movements. Read more.

 
The Plumbers Licensing Board has published a new Technical Note on Water Temperature on the web site that includes tempering requirements under the existing regulations and best practice advice where there are risks of scalding.
